This is a mixed media painting. The peacock is in full plumage, and is done with acrylic paint and ink. The gorgeous feather circles are created with gold leaf and acrylics. The mosaics were handmade from heavy cold pressed watercolor paper, to give it a mosaic tile feel without the weight of actual tile. The watercolor paper takes on a lovely color when mixing the colors allowing for a beautiful spread of color representing the colors of the peacock feathers.
This is a one of a kind painting and completely handmade.
