This is a handforged leaf necklace. The leaf is crafted from silver sheet and wire by using metal forming tools. I cut the leaf, then solder on the veins of the leaf, then start forming with the repousse tools to give the leaf movement and shape. Then it is sanded and shaped more with other tools, until it is smooth. Then comes the application of enamel, which is put on wet, then dried and fired with a torch until it has a smooth glass finish. This is a cute little leaf pendant, one of a kind, handmade.
This comes with the chain pictured, a dainty 18 inch sterling silver chain.
