Hummingbird pendant with amethyst, kyanite and golden flowers

This is a handmade piece - made from sterling silver, featuring the hummingbird; A powerful spirit animal. She flies among hand created flowers and leaves each one is handmade and then soldered into place. After some texturing, I then applied 24k gold leaf onto the flowers by hand using an ancient technique called Keum-boo, where the gold is bonded to the silver through heat and burnishing. It's a lovely effect and a wonderful way to get the look of gold without having to pay for solid gold! And for those who love the look of silver with gold this is a dream come true. Sitting among the flowers is a vibrant purple amethyst and mother of pearl doublet. Above and below carrying the center piece are a green and blue kyanite, all of these stones echoing the colors of many flowers the hummingbird loves. This is a one of a kind piece.
