Annabelle and the armadillo pendant

This piece tells a story of Annabelle and the armadillo. They met in the forest one day and became fast friends. Sometimes armadillo lets Annabelle ride on his back while they walk and talk. The sun shines down on them through the trees, creating a lovely scene. This piece features two beautiful stones, kyanite and labradorite. Both reflecting the colors of the sky, the sun, the animals. Surrounding the stones are small handmade leaves. These are hand cut and textured, then soldered into place to create the design. This piece also has 24k gold leaf applied to both Annabelle and the armadillo as well as some leaves. This is done with heat through an ancient process called Keum boo where the gold is melded to the silver through heat and pressure. This is a delightful piece that tells a story of friendship and beauty. This is a one of a kind piece.
